Eric Cole founded the Dandy-Walker Alliance in 2006 to support families affected by Dandy-Walker Malformation worldwide and fund national research activities. Since then, the organization has grown to reach thousands of people worldwide.
A military brat, Eric was born and raised in Colorado with family roots in Alabama. He holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland and an M.S. from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Eric works and lives in Montgomery County, Maryland with his wife and son.

Chris Rogers

Chris Rogers joined the Dandy-Walker Alliance in April 2022 as the Executive Director.
He has a strong passion for community work and effecting positive change in the world around him. He has seen firsthand the joy and delight that those with Dandy-Walker Malformation bring to their families and friends, and is excited to connect with families around the globe.
Chris spent the previous four years working with nonprofits in the Washington D.C. area planning and executing community events, creating video broadcasts and digital media productions, cultivating corporate partnerships, and implementing organizational fundraising initiatives.
He holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland, where he spent four years honing his writing, editing, graphic design, and video production skills. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, listening to and playing music, watching baseball, and trying new restaurants.

Ted LeVasseur

Ted LeVasseur joined the Dandy-Walker Alliance in February 2025 as its first-ever full-time Development Director.
He first engaged with Dandy-Walker Alliance in 2007, supporting Founder & President Eric Cole to translate resource documents into multiple languages to reach our global constituency. Ted brings more than two decades of experience driving fundraising and business development for global nonprofits and social enterprises.
He holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, where he first met the organization’s founders, Eric and Andrea Cole. He is passionate about using his skills, experience, time, and network to help others.
